Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions couples ask about our venue, services, and policies. Whether you’re wondering about availability, catering options, or setup times, this section is designed to provide clarity and confidence as you plan your special day.

Venue Basics

Is my preferred date available?

Please inquire for availability, as this changes daily. Dates are only confirmed once deposit payments are received.

How many guests can the venue accommodate (day & evening)?

110 daytime & 150 evening

Do you have a wedding licence for civil ceremonies?

Yes, we are fully licensed and sit within Stockton-On-Tees registry office

Can we have both the ceremony and reception here?

We offer a full start to finish service

How long do we have the venue for on the day?

We only have one event per day with access all day depending on your needs

Costs & Payment

What’s included in the hire price?

Exclusive hire, tables & chairs, table linen, fully licensed bar

Are there different packages? What do they include?

We have 3 set packages depending on guest numbers and dates, all including catering and drinks offering

Is VAT included in the price?

Yes

What’s the deposit, and when is the full balance due?

Payment schedule – 4x 25% payments. 1. Deposit 2. 9 months prior 3. 6 months prior 4. 3 months prior

What’s your cancellation/postponement policy?

All payments are non-refundable once the payment has been made

Food & Drink

Do you have in-house catering, or can we bring our own?

We have a full in house catering team that can offer a versatile menu depending on your visions. We also offer external catering if you are looking for a particular cuisine or a specialist offering

Can we do a menu tasting beforehand?

Yes, all couples have a complimentary tasting evening before confirming food selections

Are there options for dietary requirements (vegan, gluten-free, etc)?

We can cater for all dietary requirements

Is there a corkage fee if we bring our own alcohol?

We don’t currently offer corkage but can order any drinks on request

Are there minimum spends on food or drink?

We don’t have any minimum spends

Accommodation

Do you have on-site accommodation for guests?

Yes, our farmhouse has just undergone a full renovation with a offering of 9 bedrooms, sleeping 20 guests per night

Is there a bridal suite?

Yes we have a dedicated dressing room, the perfect space for the morning of your wedding

Do you have recommended hotels nearby?

If you require additional accommodation we have a number of options within a 10 minute drive

Are there any discounts or group rates available?

We dont, think this should be taken off the list please

Entertainment & Timing

Do you have a sound system, or do we need to hire one?

We have background speakers for throughout the day

Can we bring a live band/DJ?

Yes we have no restrictions on DJs or bands

Are there noise restrictions or a curfew?

We are licensed to serve until mid-night.

When can suppliers arrive to set up?

We offer access from 6am on the morning of your wedding

Is there a space for dancing?

Yes we have a large dancefloor space that can open up into the courtyard.

Decor & Logistics

Are we allowed to decorate? Any restrictions (e.g., candles, confetti)?

Yes we have no restrictions in regards to decor. We do allow real candles!

Do you provide tables, chairs, linens, etc.?

Yes

Do you have a wedding coordinator or point of contact?

Yes, you will deal with the same wedding coordinator the full way through the process

Is there parking available for guests and suppliers?

We have ample space for parking

Do you have disabled access?

Yes, the full design of the space has taken this into consideration and all areas are fully accessible.

Extra Good-to-Knows

Do you have a backup plan for outdoor ceremonies in case it rains?

We only run out the stretch tent for now, we do have plans in the future so i think pull this out until that is in place please

Are pets allowed?

Yes, we are dog friendly!

Do you have any recommended suppliers (photographers, florists, etc)?

We can offer guidance on all suppliers for your day, check out our recommended suppliers page

How many weddings do you host per day?

Over 50 weddings per year

Do you have public liability insurance?
